This is an opportunity for a capable, detail-focused technician with strong technical understanding and clear communication skills across a broad range of sectors to join a growing business.
About the Job
Deliver high-quality technical design and detailing for projects across multiple sectors, ensuring compliance with UK building regulations and industry best practice.
Work on a range of projects, varying in size including commercial developments, residential schemes, and healthcare facilities
Prepare and manage construction drawings, specifications, and tender documentation. There may be opportunities to develop feasibility studies and planning work.
Remote working available with occasional travel required
Job Requirements
Qualified Architect or Architectural Technologist
Strong experience in RIBA Stages 4–5 (essential)
Confidence producing detailed technical drawings packages and specifications
A self-starter and with ability to work efficiently within a fast‑moving project environment
A proactive, delivery‑focused mindset, working to fixed budgets and within deadlines

Dunclare Architects is looking for a talented and motivated Part 2 Architectural Assistant / Architectural Graduate to join our growing practice in County Fermanagh.
About the Job
We work across a varied range of projects throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, including bespoke homes, residential developments, commercial and industrial projects, tourism and heritage buildings.
This is a hands-on role within a small practice, offering the opportunity to be involved throughout the full architectural process — from initial concept and planning through technical design, Building Control and construction on site.
Job Requirements
A recognised Part 2 Architecture qualification, or currently completing Part 2
Strong design and presentation skills
Good AutoCAD and SketchUp skills
An interest in construction and technical detailing
Good communication and organisational skills
A willingness to learn and take responsibility as the role develops
We can offer flexible / hybrid working arrangements for the right candidate, although regular time in our Fermanagh office and attendance at project meetings and site visits will form part of the role.
You’ll work directly with the Principal Architect and gain genuine exposure to clients, consultants, contractors and live projects, with increasing responsibility as your experience develops.
